We hope the answers to some of these frequently asked questions may help you decide to choose RHYNO as your prefered Caravan manouvering device.
1. Will the Rhyno fit my caravan?
A. The Rhyno is designed in such a way that it will fit 98% of all British style caravans and most of the European styles too.
2. Will you have to modify my Caravan in any way to make it fit?
A. No, in all cases the Rhyno Mover is fitted to your existing chassis using a Rhyno clamping system, in rare cases we have an auxillary fixing kit which can be used to allow us to fit "non" standard Caravans and Camping Trailers.
3. What type of Battery do i need?
A. An 85amp/hr leisure battery as the minimum requirement, However a 110amp/hr liesure lead acid type battery is the best option. In either case the battery must be in good condition and fully charged to give the best in performance. We also would advise the fitting of "snap on" style battery terminals.
4. How much extra weight does the Rhyno Mover add to my Caravan.
A. Overall it will add 29kilos, the design has incorporated many features which are focused on reducing the burden of carrying a mover and as with many other heavier movers on the market today Rhyno is by far the lightest.
5. Does the Ryhno Come with a warranty?
A. The Rhyno is fully guaranteed for 5 yrs
6. How long does it take to fit?
A. Allow upto 2 hours for fitting, although most home fits are easily completed in much less than this.
7. Can i move my Rhyno Mover from my existing Caravan to my new one?
A. Yes.
8. How fast does it move?
A. The Rhyno will move any Caravan at just less than walking speed...whats the rush??
9. Will the Mover be able to cope with the incline?
A. Depending on the Incline itself and the combined weight and loading of the Caravan the Rhyno Mover will tackle most inclines with relative ease.
10. Where is the Rhyno Motor Mover Made?
A. We are proud of the Rhyno Caravan Mover and can boast that it is the ONLY totally BRITISH made Caravan Mover on the market today. All the components used in the manufacture of Rhyno are sourced in the UK supporting British Jobs and British Business.
11. Does it have a softer start?
A. Yes it has a feature that enables the user to control very closely the start of the mover, it will move off gently and softly. and yes it does help save the crockery.!
